Cantwell Statement On Secretary Zinke’s Taxpayer-Funded Travel

Washington, D.C. – Today, Ranking Member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) made the following statement regarding Secretary Zinke’s use of a private flight funded by taxpayer dollars:
“Using taxpayer money to charter a private flight on an oil executive’s plane is not how the Secretary of the Interior should do business. The taxpayers need answers.”
